For more than 17 years The Law Firm for Non-Profits has been in the business of incorporating nonprofit organizations and obtaining their IRS tax exempt status. Our unique expertise is unsurpassed.  In fact, the IRS has never denied an application for tax exempt status submitted by The Law Firm for Non-Profits. (Of course, past success is not a guarantee of 100% success in the future.)

Our experience and expertise also allows us to charge about one-fourth what a typical "corporate" law firm charges for the same services.  Best of all, you have the assurance that your IRS application is handled quickly, professionally and right.

To operate as a nonprofit, simply incorporating as a nonprofit corporation is not sufficient. You MUST obtain "tax exempt" status from the IRS. The Law Firm for Non-Profits has never failed to obtain tax exempt status for any of its clients (of course, we cannot guarantee this will never happen). This is our specialty, which allows us to do the work quickly and economically. That is why many law firms actually ask Nonprofit Incorporators to handle tax exemption work for their clients.

The Law Firm for Non-Profits services nonprofits throughout the nation and overseas.  If you are about to start a nonprofit in any of the 50 states, you owe it to yourself, your board of directors, and your organization to do it right. We make sure you do, painlessly and worry free. Here's what our clients have to say.

Our Services and Fees
Starting a nonprofit involves several time consuming and often confusing steps. For a low flat-fee**, we offer a complete, "turnkey" service,  preparing, processing and following up on every document a new 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), 501(c)(6) or 501(c)(7) organization (i.e., a charitable, educational, religious, scientific, labor, lobbying, foundation, trade group, social club or similar public service entity) must file with the Internal Revenue Service and other agencies in order to be legally recognized as a tax-exempt (i.e., nonprofit) entity and, in the case of 501(c)(3) organizations, to collect tax-deductible contributions. The only other charges to you are the filing fees required by the various government agencies.

All you have to do is give us the basic information and we do the rest. Follow this link to learn more about this service. Of course, once your nonprofit is up and running, we can help with many of its legal needs that may come along in the future. Click here for more information on our other services.

**Flat-fee pricing applies to most 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations such as:

  • Private  foundations
  • Religious organizations
  • Charitable organizations
  • Educational organizations
  • Arts organizations
  • Scientific organizations
  • Literary organizations
  • Amateur sports organizations
  • Societies for the prevention of cruelty to children or animals
  • Social, pleasure and recreation clubs
  • Civil leagues and associations operated for the promotion of social welfare

Our standard flat-fee does not apply to other types of nonprofits, as well as any 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) organizations described in the following list, for which additional fees or alternative pricing will apply:

  • Membership corporations (e.g., in which members have voting rights)
  • Organizations formed to provide low income housing
  • Business leagues and trade associations
  • Real estate boards
  • Chambers of Commerce
  • Country clubs
  • Private operating foundations

The Law Firm for Non-Profits, P.C. reserves the right to charge higher fees on a case-by-case basis at its sole discretion. Non-standard pricing will be disclosed prior to the commencement of any work.
